Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all paid services and products purchased through the GaadiInfo platform, including challan payment facilitation, car service history reports, premium features, and accessories.

2. Challan Payment Facilitation Fee

GaadiInfo charges a flat ₹199 Platform Service Fee (plus 18% GST = ₹35.82) per challan payment transaction. This fee is charged by GaadiInfo for providing the challan lookup, payment processing, and support services — it is NOT a government fee, court fee, or legal charge. Refund terms for challan transactions: • The ₹199 Platform Service Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE once the payment transaction has been initiated, regardless of the outcome with the traffic authority. • The CHALLAN AMOUNT (government fine) will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 working days if: (a) the payment was debited but not settled with the government portal, or (b) the challan was already paid before the transaction. • To raise a refund claim for the challan amount: email support@gaadiinfo.com within 48 hours with your transaction ID, vehicle number, and challan number. • GaadiInfo does not issue refunds for service fees where the facilitation service was rendered.

3. Service History Reports

Car service history reports are digital products delivered electronically. Once a report has been generated and delivered, it is non-refundable. If a report cannot be generated due to unavailability of data for your vehicle, a full refund will be processed within 7 working days.

3. Accessories

For physical products purchased through our accessories store: cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of placing the order. If the product has not been shipped, cancellation will be processed immediately. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused and undamaged products. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days after receiving the returned product. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

4. Subscription Services

If we offer any subscription-based services: you may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds for partial billing periods. You will continue to have access until the end of the paid period.

6. Payment Gateway Issues

If a transaction fails but the amount is debited from your account, the amount will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 5-7 working days. If the refund is not received within this period, please contact us with the transaction ID.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund: email support@gaadiinfo.com with your order ID, transaction details, and reason for refund. We will review your request and respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable: the ₹199 GaadiInfo Platform Service Fee for challan payment facilitation (once the transaction is initiated), successfully delivered digital reports, services that have been fully utilized, products returned after 7 days or in damaged condition, any fees or charges imposed by payment gateways or banks.
